During the development of Food Stylist we would find ourselves in periods where dozens of backgrounds were needed per artist each week, and in an effort to avoid crunch while meeting deadlines, i explored more simple and abstract designs that were simpler to create and render. These proved highly successful with players, who responded positively across the social media feeds, praising the uniqeness and variety from previous content.
These minimalist and abstract environments were an excellent challenge in detail, restraint and speed, and they are some of my favourites on the project!
